Occupational Lead Poisoning Prevention Fee

CDTFA administers the Occupational Lead Poisoning Prevention Fee in partnership with the California Department of Public Health. The fees collected by the Department are used to support the Occupational Lead Poisoning Prevention Program within the CDPH. The fee applies to employers in certain Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes where there is evidence of a potential for lead poisoning. The fee is based on the employer's SIC code and the number of employees employed by the employer in California for 160 hours or more in a calendar year. Please see Publication 94 for additional information.
