Taxpayers' Bill of Rights Meetings
As required by the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) holds annual public meetings to listen to your suggestions, comments, and concerns.
These meetings give you the opportunity to present your ideas, concerns, and recommendations regarding legislation, the quality of agency services, and other issues related to the CDTFA's administration of its tax programs; including sales and use taxes, environmental fees, fuel taxes, and excise taxes. You can also suggest ways to resolve any problems identified in the Taxpayers' Rights Advocate's current Annual Report.
Please check this webpage early in 2018 for an announcement of the dates and locations for the 2018 Taxpayers' Bill of Rights Meetings. To be placed on a notification list, please contact the Taxpayers' Rights Advocate Office. You may also receive an email invitation to the 2018 meetings by subscribing to the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights CDTFA Updates list.
