Taxpayers' Bill of Rights Meetings
As required by the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) holds annual public meetings to listen to your suggestions, comments, and concerns.
These meetings give you the opportunity to present your ideas, concerns, and recommendations regarding legislation, the quality of agency services, and other issues related to the CDTFA's administration of its tax programs; including sales and use taxes, environmental fees, fuel taxes, and excise taxes. You can also suggest ways to resolve any problems identified in the Taxpayers' Rights Advocate's current Annual Report.
This year, the Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights meeting will be held at the location listed below starting at 9:00 a.m:
July 11, 2018
450 N Street, 1st Floor, Room 122
Sacramento, CA 95814
Although you are not required to make advance arrangements to speak, it will help us to prepare if you contact the Taxpayers’ Rights Advocate (TRA) Office beforehand to let them know your topic. If your proposal is complex or extensive, we encourage you to submit it in advance to the TRA Office, and then summarize it in your oral presentation. You are also welcome to submit written comments for the public record without appearing at the meeting.
Upon request, you may receive email invitations to the Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights meetings each year by subscribing to the Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights meeting notification list.
